Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall. The use of these cookies is based on Article 6(1)(a) or (c) of the GDPR.

4. Use of Cookies

a) This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:

  • Transient cookies (see b)

  • Persistent cookies (see c).

b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. b) To the extent that we base the processing of your personal data on a balancing of interests, you may object to the processing. This is the case, in particular, if the processing is not necessary to fulfill a contract with you, as we will explain in the following description of the functions. If you exercise such an objection, we ask that you explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we currently do. In the event of a justified objection, we will review the situation and either cease or adjust the data processing, or explain to you our compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we will continue the processing.

7. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. (for Europe: Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland – “Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” which are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as from processing this data, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

This website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. This ensures that IP addresses are truncated before further processing, thereby preventing any personal identification. To the extent that the data collected about you is personally identifiable, such identification is immediately ruled out, and the personal data is therefore promptly deleted.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. For more information about Google Analytics, please visit https://www.analytics.google.com and http://support.google.com/adsense/answer/2839090, as well as Google’s general privacy policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org. Currently, any potential data transfer to the United States is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) provided by Google. We reserve the right to disable Google Analytics should a court or regulatory decision determine that these SCCs do not comply with data protection regulations. 8. Use of Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to ensure consistent font display. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its cache to display text and fonts correctly. We store these fonts locally, so no personal data is transmitted to Google. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used. For more information about Google Web Fonts, visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and see Google’s Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

9. Use of Google Maps

We integrate maps from the “Google Maps” service provided by Google. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on our website and enables you to conveniently use the map feature.

The data processed may include, in particular, users’ IP addresses and location data; however, this data is not collected without their consent (which is typically provided through the settings on their mobile devices). Data processing occurs regardless of whether you are logged in to a Google user account or do not have a user account.

If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish for your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before clicking the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for advertising, market research, and/or to tailor its website to user needs. Such analysis is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to deliver personalized advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right, you must contact Google.

For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to the provider’s privacy policy. There you will also find further information regarding your rights in this regard and settings options to protect your privacy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. The legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Currently, any potential data transfer to the United States is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) provided by Google. We reserve the right to disable Google Maps should a court or regulatory decision determine that these SCCs do not comply with data protection regulations. 10. Integration of Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; parent company: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags via a user interface, allowing other services to be integrated into our online offering. The Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) therefore does not, for example, create user profiles or store cookies. Google only receives the user’s IP address, which is necessary to run Google Tag Manager.

The legal basis for data processing is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Currently, any potential data transfer to the United States is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) provided by Google. We reserve the right to deactivate Google Tag Manager should a court or regulatory decision determine that these SCCs do not comply with data protection regulations. 11. Cookiebot

When you visit our website, we inform you about the types of cookies we use and give you the option to consent to or decline specific types of cookies. We do not load non-essential cookies until you have consented to their use based on the type.

Our website uses Cookiebot’s cookie consent technology to obtain your consent, as defined in Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, to store certain cookies in your browser and to document this consent in compliance with data protection regulations. The provider of this technology is Cookiebot – Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark (hereinafter “Cookiebot”).

When you visit our website, a Cookiebot cookie is stored in your browser, which records the consents you have granted or any revocation of those consents. This data is not shared with the provider of Cookiebot.

The collected data is stored until you request that we delete it, delete the Cookiebot cookie yourself, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected. Details regarding Cookiebot’s data processing can be found at https://www.cookiebot.com/de/privacy-policy/.

Cookiebot’s cookie consent technology is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

12. Contacting Us via Email

You have the option to contact us via email. You can find the relevant addresses on our website under “Contact.”

If you contact us via the email address we provide, the personal data transmitted with your email will be stored. The legal basis for the processing of your data in this regard is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in contacting you as a (potential) customer. If contacting us via email is related to the conclusion or performance of a contract between you and us, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR also serves as the legal basis for the processing.

When you visit our website, a Cookiebot cookie is stored in your browser, which records the consents you have given or any revocation of those consents. This data is not shared with the provider of Cookiebot.

We process personal data that we store in connection with your contact via email exclusively for the purpose of handling your inquiry. The data is not disclosed to third parties in this regard.

We delete your data as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data transmitted via email, this occurs when the relevant correspondence with you has ended and it is clear from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved. If the data is necessary for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, deletion may only occur to the extent permitted by contractual or legal obligations. The applicable retention periods must be determined individually for each contract and the respective contracting parties.

You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. If you contact us via email, you may object to the storage of your personal data at any time. To do so, simply send an informal message to the contact information provided at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.

13. Social Media Privacy Notice

We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks. The specific social networks we use are listed below.

Social networks such as Facebook, etc., can generally analyze your user behavior in detail when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g., “Like” buttons or advertising banners). Visiting our social media pages triggers numerous data processing operations relevant to data protection. Specifically:

If you are logged into your social media account and visit our social media presence, the operator of the social media portal can associate this visit with your user account. However, your personal data may also be collected even if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media platform. In this case, data collection occurs, for example, through cookies stored on your device or by recording your IP address.

Using the data collected in this way, the operators of the social media platforms can create user profiles that store your preferences and interests. In this way, interest-based advertising can be displayed to you both on and off the respective social media platform. If you have an account with the respective social network, interest-based advertising can be displayed on all devices on which you are logged in or have been logged in.

Please also note that we cannot track all data processing activities on social media platforms. Depending on the provider, additional processing operations may therefore be carried out by the operators of the social media platforms. For details, please refer to the terms of use and privacy policies of the respective social media platforms.

Legal Basis
Our social media presence is intended to ensure the most comprehensive online presence possible. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The analytics processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal grounds, which must be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g., consent within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).

Data Controller and Exercising Your Rights
When you visit one of our social media platforms (e.g., Facebook), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing activities triggered by that visit. You may generally exercise your rights (right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint) both with us and with the operator of the respective social media platform (e.g., Facebook).

Please note that, despite our joint responsibility with the social media platform operators, we do not have full control over the data processing activities of the social media platforms. Our options depend largely on the corporate policies of the respective provider.

Retention
Period The data collected directly by us through our social media presence is deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for its storage no longer applies, you request that we delete it, you revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Mandatory legal provisions—in particular retention periods—remain unaffected.

We have no influence over the retention period of your data that is stored by social media platform operators for their own purposes. For details on this, please contact the social media platform operators directly (e.g., in their privacy policies; see below).
