Hardware
Sturdy Base Structure: The machine bed, featuring a proven cast-iron design, incorporates an elaborate ribbed structure—for maximum rigidity and optimal damping properties.
Precision guideways: All linear guideways are designed as V-shaped flat ways. The ground and hand-scraped cast iron surface, combined with a TURCITE-B® coating, ensures excellent damping.
Toothed belt drive on the longitudinal axis (X): The table drive enables exceptionally smooth motion and continuously variable speeds of up to 35,000 mm/min. The system is thermally stable, highly energy-efficient, and features an extremely low-maintenance design.
Ball Screws & Glass Rulers (Y/Z): The transverse and vertical axes are equipped as standard with high-precision ball screws and linear glass rulers for direct position feedback—ensuring maximum positioning accuracy.
Automatic Central Lubrication: A fully automatic recirculating lubrication system continuously supplies the guideways and moving elements of all axes with lubricating oil, ensuring low-maintenance operation.
Safe Full-Enclosure Design: Protects operators and the environment and ensures the highest air quality in the workshop. Since the standard enclosed design allows for the safe use of maximum machining parameters, you benefit directly from faster processes.
Flexible satellite handwheel: During setup, all axes can be moved with precision using an electric handwheel (selectable increment sizes: 1 µm, 10 µm, or 100 µm).
Software
Proprietary G+H software: The cutting-edge Smart-Touch operating concept, featuring a generously sized color touchscreen, is thoroughly optimized for paperless production and enables intuitive control directly at the machine—without any programming knowledge.
Integrated drawing and document display: Design drawings and documents (e.g., in PDF, DXF, or DWG format) can be accessed and viewed directly on the control screen without any detours.
Future-proof IoT connectivity: Full network connectivity enables centralized data backup as well as fast remote diagnostics and teleservice. The system is already optimally prepared for modern interface standards such as OPC UA.
Advanced cycle chaining: Enables the flexible, logical chaining of up to 7 grinding cycles for complex machining sequences in a single setup. A complete overview of all integrated cycles can be found below in the technical specifications.
Integrated workpiece and profile database: The powerful data storage system allows for convenient management and quick retrieval of up to 100 workpieces and up to 25 different grinding wheel profiles.
Secure user management: Password-protected access control enables the assignment of dedicated user and programming permissions to protect sensitive processes from unauthorized access.
