Sturdy Base Structure: The machine bed, featuring a proven cast-iron design, incorporates an elaborate ribbed structure—for maximum rigidity and optimal damping properties.
Linear roller guides: All linear axes are equipped with high-precision, preloaded linear roller guides. The mounting surfaces of the guide rails are precision-ground—ensuring backlash-free guidance and the highest straightness of motion during linear machining.
High-quality ball screws: Power is transmitted to all linear axes via precision ball screws. The system guarantees maximum positioning accuracy and enables spatial interpolation of the axes.
Flexible CNC-axis expansion: The control system offers the option of flexibly integrating additional interpolating axes—such as a swiveling grinding spindle (B-axis from -90° to +90°), a swiveling worktable (U-axis), or a swiveling dressing device (A-axis).
Safe full-enclosure design: Protects operators and the environment and ensures the highest air quality in the workshop. Since the standard enclosed design allows for the safe use of maximum machining parameters, you benefit directly from faster processes.
Automatic Central Lubrication: A fully automatic recirculating lubrication system continuously supplies the guideways and moving elements of all axes with lubricating oil, ensuring low-maintenance operation.
Flexible satellite handwheel: During setup, all axes can be moved with extreme precision using a mobile handwheel (selectable increments: 1 µm, 10 µm, or 100 µm).
Software
Proprietary G+H software: The intuitive, graphically supported user interface ensures the machine’s control system is fully future-proof. Data entry is entirely dialog-driven and requires absolutely no programming or knowledge of DIN codes.
Maximized cycle chaining: In automatic mode, this enables the fully automatic linking of up to 30 grinding cycles per workpiece for series production or longer machining cycles—ideal for highly efficient, continuous manufacturing processes.
Expanded cycle range: The system offers a wide variety of highly efficient standard and specialized processes for demanding tasks. A complete overview of all integrated cycles can be found below in the technical specifications.
Graphical Simulation & CAD: Thanks to graphical support, CAD/CAM integration, and an optional, integrated CAD program for shop-floor programming, it enables the precise creation of even the most complex grinding wheel contours. An integrated pre-simulation reliably protects the process from collisions.
Integrated workpiece and profile database: Ensures highly structured storage and management of workpiece, grinding wheel, and dresser data. This minimizes setup times, ensures up-to-date process parameters, and offers an integrated USB interface for easy external data backup.
Automatic contour dressing: Automatic dressing of the grinding wheel directly from the table guarantees the highest precision with automatic compensation of all dressing amounts. The control system also supports optional dressing systems (such as fork or swivel dressers) for high-precision, program-controlled profiling and back-dressing.
