The high-end precision rotary table grinding machine with a vertical grinding spindle and state-of-the-art CNC control for highly flexible adaptation to customer-specific requirements. All axis guides in the RTV CNC series are designed as ground and hand-scraped V-flat ways with a TURCITE-B® coating. As a highly stable and high-performance solution, this series—with variable table diameters ranging from 600 mm to 1,500 mm—covers a wide range of parts and is optimally designed for µm-precise internal and external grinding of complex workpieces in production environments.

    Hardware

    Sturdy Base Structure: The machine bed, featuring a proven cast-iron design, incorporates an elaborate ribbed structure—for maximum rigidity and optimal damping properties.

    Precision guideways: All linear guides are designed as V-shaped flat slideways. The ground and hand-scraped cast iron surface, combined with a TURCITE-B® coating, ensures excellent damping.

    Torque Motor Table Drive: The worktable is driven directly by a torque motor with infinitely variable speed control. This ensures a constant cutting speed across the entire table surface.

    Spindle Concepts: The vertical grinding spindle can be flexibly used for both internal and external grinding processes, while an optional B-axis on the workpiece spindle head allows for the installation of three different grinding spindles and a measuring probe. An optional automatic tool changer for up to six grinding wheels is also available.

    Safe Full-Enclosure Design: Protects operators and the environment and ensures the highest air quality in the workshop. Since the standard enclosed design allows for the safe use of maximum machining parameters, you benefit directly from faster processes.

    Automatic Central Lubrication: A fully automatic recirculating lubrication system continuously supplies the guideways and moving elements of all axes with lubricating oil, ensuring low-maintenance operation.

    Flexible satellite handwheel: During setup, all axes can be moved with extreme precision using a mobile handwheel (selectable increments: 1 µm, 10 µm, or 100 µm).

    Software

    Proprietary G+H software: The intuitive, graphically supported user interface ensures that the machine’s control system is fully future-proof. Data entry is convenient, performed directly through a dialog, and requires absolutely no programming or knowledge of DIN code. Each parameter is clearly described using abbreviations, plain-text help lines, and graphics.

    Maximized cycle chaining: In fully automatic operation, up to 26 grinding operations per workpiece can be easily linked, managed, deleted, copied, or moved—ideal for highly flexible manufacturing processes.

    Expanded cycle range: The system offers a wide variety of highly efficient standard and special processes for demanding tasks. A complete overview of all integrated cycles can be found below in the technical specifications.

    Graphical Simulation & Corrections: Dressing operations can be graphically simulated on the screen and reliably checked for collisions. In addition, the integrated electronic cylinder error correction enables rapid compensation for taper by simply entering two measured diameters.

    Integrated Workpiece and Profile Database: Ensures clear management and storage of workpiece data (virtually unlimited, depending on hard drive capacity) as well as data for up to 60 grinding wheels and 20 dressers. This guarantees minimal setup times for recurring jobs.

    Automatic contour dressing: Automatic dressing directly from the worktable ensures the highest precision. All dressing amounts are fully automatically compensated, grinding wheels are automatically set back on both sides, and the cutting speed is kept absolutely constant thanks to the stepless speed control (V-constant).
